& the two shall become one flesh.

On Friday, June 7, 2024, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart, Liz & Greg became one flesh through the Holy Sacrament of Marriage! The entire day was filled with lots of joy & beautiful sunshine, as their friends & family came together to celebrate their beautiful love story!

The couple first met while volunteering with the Sisters of Life. For both Liz & Greg, their first introduction sparked an interest in the other. Following their first meeting, Liz & Greg kept finding themselves volunteering together & enjoying each conversation they shared more & more. For a while, Liz began to wonder why Greg had not asked her out on a date. She later found out that he was in the process of discerning the priesthood. Even after their first meeting, Greg said to a friend "This priesthood thing better work out, because I just passed up an opportunity to ask out a really nice, really cute girl." As you can imagine, the Lord had different plans for Greg's Vocation!

Their dedication to serving mothers in crisis pregnancy became a beautiful foundation for their love story, as they continued to volunteer more frequently just to be near each other. Also, the many prayers of the Sisters of Life - who quickly noticed Liz & Greg's interest in each other - only added to the perfect & holy foundation of their relationship!

Surrounded by their families and friends, the entire wedding day was so JOYFUL. Every moment was filled with laughter & a deep sense of joy that comes from celebrating a love story rooted in faith & service.

The Nuptial Mass took place at Saint Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church in Philadelphia, PA - the same church where their love story began years before! It was just outside of the church where Greg asked Liz on their first date! The Mass was sacred & beautiful. The Oratorians, priests & brothers in the Oratories of Saint Philip Neri, were joined by Gregory's uncle, Fr. Anthony Killian, to concelebrate the mass. It was so special for the couple to become one in a church that means so much to their love story!

Following the nuptials, friends & family rejoiced with the newlyweds at The Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia, PA.

Many congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Giangiordano!!
